When ever i do this, i always make a comment about casting into structure. seems like i cast into structure alot. there is one very hungry tree over my favorite trout hole, it has taken several of my ristos 4's over the years. bacon

I get a lot of those lures for free since I fish out of a deep V boat,my deck is higher so I can reach the lures that guys in bass boats can't ...But I've put my share up there to.

I hate losing lures
I'll try everything to get them unstuck
I remember 1 day I found over 50 lures snagged on the bottom.There were Rapala's,Bombers,Bandits,and a few OLD ones.They were down there for awhile because I couldn't make them out as to what kind they were.
Since I started diving I find alot more then I lose though so if I lose a few its not to bad.

Last year while fishing one day in March, I ended a day pretty badly after getting a Shallow Shad Rap stuck in a tree. Went to cast a Shallow Shad Rap and got it stuck on a branch that I knew I could reach. While trying my hardest to reach out there with a long branch in my right hand and holding on tight to another tree with my left, I slipped and fell in the water when the lure fell in. After finally getting out of the water I couldn't move my right arm I was in so much pain. A buddy of mine came to pick me up and took me to the hospital. Took x-rays and found nothing broken. Problem was I inflamed the tendon on my right shoulder which ended up being shoulder tendonitis. Had to go to a local orthopedic twice a week for 2 months.
